Ira Rollover Gift

A TAX SMART WAY TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

The IRA Charitable Rollover provision of the Internal Revenue Code allows taxpayers, age 70 1/2 or older, to transfer up to $100,000 annually from their IRA accounts directly to qualified charities, like Neighbor Ride, without first having to recognize the distribution as income. These tax-free transfers from your IRA can also count against your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). To qualify under the provision, the donated funds must be transferred directly by your IRA custodian to an eligible charity. Please consult with your advisor for more information and to determine if a Charitable IRA Rollover is right for you. If it is, you will need to provide the following information to your IRA custodian so the distribution can be made directly to Neighbor Ride as required:

Charity Name: Neighbor Ride, Inc.

Tax Identification Number: 32-0123282

Address: 5570 Sterrett Place, Suite 102 – Columbia, MD 21044

Phone: (410) 884-7433

“I am no longer a “shut in,” waiting to die. I’m 92 years old and now I can get out just about any time I want. Your volunteers are such wonderful people!”
