VOLUNTEER HALL OF FAME
As a part of Neighbor Ride’s 20th Anniversary Celebration, we established a Volunteer Hall of Fame to acknowledge and honor the contributions of our dedicated volunteers. The inaugural inductees’ unwavering dedication, service, and compassion are the epitome of what Neighbor Ride is all about.
Since Neighbor Ride’s services were launched in November 2004, our Hall of Famers and other incredible volunteers have:
– Provided over 236,100 passenger trips and deliveries
– Handled over 250,000 calls and over 145,000 ride requests
– Provided rides to over 3,000 of our older adult neighbors
– Helped connect our community by providing rides that have created over 48,900 different volunteer/client pairings
Through the simple act of “neighbor helping neighbor” our volunteers make it possible for older adults to stay healthy, independent, and actively engaged in the life of our community.
