Exciting Neighbor Ride News – We are hiring 

We would like to share some exciting news about Neighbor Ride’s continued growth.  As you may know, last September, the Board of Directors approved our new strategic plan for FY25 to FY27.

The plan focuses on increasing both our number of clients and number of volunteers as a means of serving Howard County’s growing need for older adult transportation services.  The plan calls for 40-45% growth in ride volume over the three years of the plan.

Additionally, it directs internal investments in staffing to: (1) achieve these goals, (2) innovate and expand services to better respond to external needs, and (3) ensure the business continuity of Neighbor Ride’s operations.

To the news! – very shortly Neighbor Ride will post an open position for a full-time Strategic Development Director.

This role, while charged with bringing a forward-thinking perspective to Neighbor Ride, involves managing donor relationships, leadership of fundraising activities, seeking grants & sponsorships, and oversight of Neighbor Ride’s marketing and communications.

We will communicate the posting of the job via email, the Neighbor Ride website and several other job posting sites.  Please be thinking if you or someone you know might be interested in the position.

We are looking for a volunteer or two who would like to help with Ride Coordinator duties on Saturdays from 10-1.  You can work in the NR office or virtually from home.  Please contact Patrice or Andrew at volunteer@neighborride.org if you would like to discuss this opportunity.
