We’re so proud to share our 2025 Annual Report with you!
The Annual Report is our opportunity to tell stakeholders about what we do, our plans for the future, and to celebrate our volunteers and supporters.

Torrey Smith Helps Scout for Talent
You may have noticed a new face helping Neighbor Ride recruit volunteers on social media – former professional athlete Torrey Smith!
His understanding of teamwork and community support really comes through.
Special thanks to volunteers Sue, Deborah, and Fred for their supporting roles. What a great team!
Reminder: The 17th is Magnet Day
Mark your 2026 calendars for Magnet Days!
On the 17th of each month, we ask that all volunteers display their magnet on their car throughout the day.
We’re Getting the Word Out
Neighbor Ride is out and about in Howard County this spring, recruiting volunteer drivers and sharing information about our service with community members.
On February 28th we will exhibit at the 2026 Black History Expo presented by the National Pan-Hellenic Council of Howard County and the Howard County Public School System.
Later this spring, you will find us at:
April 18th Senior Resource Fair at Miller Branch Library from 2pm – 4pm
May 1st Office on Aging Showcase at Columbia Mall from 10am – 2pm
If you’d like to help “talk” Neighbor Ride for an hour or so at any of these events, please reach out to Andrew or Patrice.
We will also have a table at several farmers’ markets this summer in both Ellicott City and Clarksville.
Driver Reminder – Notes Fields
Please remember to review all of the notes fields before accepting a ride:

Fuel Our Future: Ways to Give
The Dollars and Cents of Recurring Gifts
Nonprofits and donors love recurring gifts for a lot of reasons:
For donors, they’re easy to “set and forget,” and a small monthly contribution is a lot easier to plan for than a larger one-time gift.
Nonprofits benefit from year-round cash flow, not just the big rush of the fall giving season, and can make plans based on contributions they can count on.
We’re so grateful to the donors who choose to make their gifts recurring, and hope you might consider doing the same!
What does that mean? It means we don’t just talk about what we do — we openly share how we do it, who leads us, and how we measure our impact.
We Need Your Help
20 Cars for 20 Years! We accept all vehicles of any age or condition. Anyone can donate, no matter what state you live in!
